Snaps Of Apps 1.17 — Release Notes
Snaps Of Apps is a macOS window manager built for window snapping, tiling, multi‑monitor workflows and workspace snapshots. Version 1.17 focuses on stability and consistency for custom Moom-style grids and tiles, especially when toggling presets on/off and keeping the Snap Bar in sync with the editor.
FIX
Custom preset toggling is now reliable: When you uncheck a custom Moom grid/tile, it is truly deactivated (no lingering snapping/overlays). The Snap Bar also refreshes immediately to show the latest custom layouts.
Improvements
- Moom preset deactivation: Unchecking a custom grid/tile now clears the active transient layout so the preset is no longer applied during drag/snapping.
- Snap Bar stays in sync: Custom tiles/grids in the Snap Bar are refreshed after editor changes (save/rename/delete), preventing stale or “old” custom tiles from appearing.
- More stable preset mapping: Snap Bar buttons map to presets using stable identifiers to avoid applying the wrong tile after list changes.
Bug fixes
- Fixed: unchecking a custom Moom preset removed the checkmark, but the preset still remained active for snapping.
- Fixed: Snap Bar showing outdated custom tiles not matching the layouts defined in the editor.
Reminder: Free 7‑day trial
